Stem and Disc Connection
- Our unique design features a pinless connection between the disc and stem. The stem passes through the valve plate and is driven by a hexagonal clamp, preventing contact with the line medium. This simplifies disassembly: just remove the circlip spring and pull the stem from the valve plate. This pinless butterfly valve offers a higher Cv value, reduced turbulence, and excellent pressure recovery.
Disc Design Features
- The disc is crafted as a one-piece unit with spherical machining and hand polishing, ensuring low torque, extended seat life, and superior sealing. Ideal for hygienic applications, it prevents dust particle accumulation. The valve plate can be coated with materials like PTFE, ETCFE, nylon, tungsten carbide, ceramic, and various anticorrosive substances to protect against erosion and corrosion. The hexagonal groove design enhances the bearing effect by securely fitting the valve stem.
Bushing and Packing Design
- Blowout-Proof Design: An anti-blowout circlip ensures the valve stem remains secure, facilitating easy assembly and disassembly.
- Shaft Sleeve: Choose between corrosion-resistant PTFE or copper bushings to absorb side thrust under heavy loads.
- Valve Shaft Packing: Features a self-expanding Y-ring and O-ring double seal design for reliable two-way sealing.
