Stem and Disc Connection
- Our unique design features a pinless connection between the disc and stem. The stem passes through the valve plate and is driven by a hexagonal clamp, preventing contact with the line medium. This design simplifies disassembly—just remove the circlip spring to extract the stem. The pinless butterfly valve boasts a higher Cv value, reduced turbulence, and excellent pressure recovery compared to similar products.
Disc Design Features
- The disc is crafted as a one-piece unit with spherical edge machining and hand polishing, offering low torque, extended seat life, and superior sealing. Ideal for hygienic applications, it prevents dust accumulation. The disc surface can be coated with materials like PTFE, ETCFE, nylon, tungsten carbide, ceramic, or various rubbers and anticorrosive materials to protect against erosion and corrosion. The hexagonal groove in the valve plate ensures a snug fit with the stem, enhancing bearing performance.
Bushing and Packing Design
- Blowout-Proof Design: The anti-blowout circlip secures the valve stem, facilitating easy assembly and disassembly.
- Shaft Sleeve: Options include corrosion-resistant PTFE or copper bushings, which absorb side thrust under heavy loads.
- Valve Shaft Packing: Features self-expanding Y-ring packing and a double-seal O-ring design to ensure a reliable two-way seal.
